With a constant need for blood donations, the American Red Cross Blood Services turned to Onramp to create a campaign with the goal of encouraging new individuals to donate blood. Onramp developed an engaging, shareable acquisition campaign asking individuals to pledge to donate, including social media posts, website landing pages, and email nurturing.
Channeling the most common reasons why people do not donate blood, the “Would You Rather” campaign makes humorous comparisons focused around the pain, time, and effort of donating blood. In today’s world, we spend an alarming amount of time on truly ridiculous things. Cat videos. TV binge-watching. Why not donate blood instead?
